EXPERIENCED CRANIOSACRAL THERAPIST
Christina Sage BSc is a Craniosacral Therapist (CSTA, CNHC), Mindfulness practitioner (MBSR, MBRP), and Structural Yoga Therapist. She has been working as a bodywork therapist since 1993. She is a mother of 2, based in Oxford and works around the UK.
Christina has worked deeply and intentionally to connect to her shame and fears with awareness, vulnerability and courage. Through this journey and transformation she has developed and embraced an ethos of honesty, kindness and gratitude which is the backbone of her life and practice. She trained in Craniosacral Therapy at The College of Craniosacral Therapy, London, Mindfulness for Relapse Prevention at The Centre for Addiction Studies at Bath University and Structural Yoga Therapy, at The Yoga Therapy Centre, London.
Christina works from the basis that physical and emotional tensions are directly related. She concentrates on the interface between the physical and emotional elements of the stress response cycle, reducing the feedback loop that the physical symptoms create.
For people experiencing ongoing discomfort, negative emotional responses can become habitual. Craniosacral therapy can offer a direct reduction in both the physical and physiological effects of symptoms, so that innate positive physical and behavioural patterns can be restored.
Christina also teaches techniques to increase self-awareness, to enable clients to manage their own discomfort and stress, and to develop alternative coping strategies in relation to their symptoms. Clients consistently say that they have learned life-changing skills and feel better both physically and emotionally.
Christina also provides services to organisations working with substance misuse, mental health and trauma. Find out more.
